Across centuries of art, few female figures have been depicted as often, or in such vastly different ways, as the biblical figure of Eve. Updating Eve for a networked present, this series of eight prints suggests the surreal results of an internet search for her name. By using a diversity of styles and digitally printed elements, Mutu reimagines female archetypes that range from ancient goddess figures to realistic female anatomy and otherworldly science fictional cyborgs.
