Sculpting Space: Exploring the Art of Richard Serra

A special two-hour workshop for families. Kids and adults explore works in the collection and special exhibitions, then use their experience in the galleries as inspiration in art-making workshops.

Come engage with the work of Richard Serra, then use your imagination as you experiment with a range of materials in this special sculpture workshop.

In conjunction with the exhibition Richard Serra Sculpture: Forty Years

Ages vary by date. Only kids of ages listed will be permitted to attend. Parents will participate in the workshop. Admission is free. Preregistration is required.

All sessions are full for the winter/spring season. We maintain an active waiting list.

Morning and afternoon programs begin in the lobby of The Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education and Research Building located at 4 West Fifty-fourth Street (between Fifth and Sixth avenues, closer to Fifth).
