Städelsches Kunstinstitut und Städtische Galerie, Frankfurt am Main. Purchased from the artist, 1919 - 1937
Confiscated (as “degenerate art”) from German state-owned Museum in 1937 and included in Entartete Kunst exhibition, in the Antiken-Museum in Hofgarten, Munich, July 19 - November 30, 1937, then sold by Nazi government.
