A special two-hour workshop for families. Kids and adults explore works in the collection and special exhibitions, then use their experience in the galleries as inspiration in art-making workshops.

Designed for four-year-olds and their adult companions, these new workshops focus on exploring materials and techniques. In this session, practice your scissor skills and put your imagination to work while cutting shapes out of paper. At the end of the program, families will visit the exhibition Henri Matisse: The Cut-Outs.

Explore works of art in MoMA’s galleries, then use your experience as inspiration for art-making in the studio. Kids and adults participate together.

Where: The Cullman Education and Research Building, located at 4 West 54 Street, between Fifth and Sixth avenues (closer to Fifth)

Tickets: Advance registration required. Registration for all sessions of a given workshop begins at 10:30 a.m. 10 days prior to the first session.
